Modelling of the Magnetic Characteristics of Isotropic and Anisotropic Materials for Sensor Applications
نویسنده
چکیده
The following paper presents the results of modelling of the magnetic characteristics of isotropic (Ni–Zn ferrite) and anisotropic material (Fe40Ni38Mo4B18 amorphous alloy in as quenched state), both useful for sensor applications. For the modelling an extended Jiles–Atherton model was used. Extension of the model connects model’s parameter k, describing average energy required to break pinning site, with magnetic state of the material. Such extension of the model is reasonable from the physical point of view. Good agreement between experimental data and modelling confirms that the extended Jiles–Atherton model creates the possibility of modelling of magnetic characteristics of both isotropic and anisotropic magnetic cores.

The comprehension of the anisotropy impacts on mechanical properties of the rolled steel sheets was investigated using a non-quadratic anisotropic yield function. In this study, experimental and modelling determination regarding the behaviour of an industrial rolled sheet for a ferritic stainless low-carbon steel were carried out. The parameters of the associated yield equation, derived from th...

In this article, bulk and thin film samples of strontium ferrite have been studied. Due to the high electrical resistivity in strontium ferrite, energy loss due to eddy currents reduces and because of this, it can be used in high frequency magnetic circuits. On the other hand, strontium ferrite has attracted much attention as a permanent magnet. At first, we study the preparation process of b...

متن کاملVelocity Modeling in a Vertical Transversely Isotropic Medium Using Zelt Method
In the present paper, the Zelt algorithm has been extended for ray tracing through an anisotropic model. In anisotropic media, the direction of the propagated energy generally differs from that of the plane-wave propagation. This makes velocity values to be varied in different directions. Therefore, velocity modeling in such media is completely different from that in an isotropic media. The vel...
